Your step-by-step guide to installing the new sFOX widgets on your iOS device
Keep tabs on your assets at a glance with sFOX iOS price and portfolio history widgets. This guide shows how to add, customize, and troubleshoot the widgets so you’ll always have up-to-date market and account insights from your Home Screen.
Before You Start
- Make sure you have the latest sFOX iOS app installed.
- Note, for the Portfolio widget, you must first sign in to your sFOX account in the app.
- If prompted, allow push notifications and background refresh for real-time updates.
Add an sFOX Widget to Your Home Screen
- Long-press any empty area on your Home Screen until icons wiggle.
- Tap the + button in the top-left corner to open the widget gallery.
- Search for “sFOX” or scroll to find the sFOX app widget options.
- Tap sFOX, then swipe to choose the Widget type and size you want (see details below).
- Tap Add Widget, then drag it to your preferred location and tap Done.
- To change widget appearance or select tokens, long-tap the widget and tap “Edit widget” from the menu

Price Widget: Setup & Options
The price widget will display one or more token prices and percent change. It supports three sizes and lets users choose which tokens to display.
Portfolio Widget: Setup & Options
The Portfolio Widget will show portfolio balance and equity levels from your sFOX account. Like the price widget, the portfolio widget supports three size options.

Tips & Best Practices
- Use Medium widgets on your primary Home Screen to strike a balance between detail and space.
- Enable Background App Refresh and push notifications for timely price updates.
- Tapping a widget opens the sFOX app to the corresponding token or portfolio view for trades or deeper analysis.
Troubleshooting
If you run into issues, try these quick fixes to get your widgets back to showing live data.
Widget Shows “No Data” or Stale Prices:
- Confirm you’re signed in to the sFOX app and your internet connection is active.
- Open sFOX once to trigger a sync, then wait a few seconds for the widget to update.
- Ensure Background App Refresh and Notifications are enabled in iOS Settings > sFOX.
Token Not Found:
- Verify symbol spelling (e.g., HYPE) or add the token to your sFOX watchlist/account first.
Chart or Percent Change Not Updating:
- Update to the latest sFOX iOS app version; restart the device if needed.
